I'm Nazmul, based in Bavaria, Germany, working as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer. I completed an Ironhack DevOps bootcamp covering Linux, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS — building and deploying real infrastructure rather than just studying it in isolation.

Outside coursework, I build and operate FlinkTrade, a personal algorithmic trading platform — Python/Flask on Kraken Futures, deployed on a self-managed Hetzner VPS with Gunicorn, Nginx, and systemd, behind Cloudflare. It runs a strict research discipline: every strategy goes through walk-forward validation with pre-registered, git-enforced pass/fail gates before it's allowed anywhere near live capital, and every result — pass or kill — gets logged permanently. That discipline matters more to me than any single result: it's the same instinct that makes good infrastructure reliable.

This site itself is part of that same practice: an Astro static site, containerized with Docker, deployed via GitHub Actions to a Traefik-fronted Hetzner box, isolated from my production trading infrastructure by design. The same box also runs Restauranty, my Ironhack final project, permanently — alongside its own monitoring stack and a public status page.

Restauranty was also deployed the harder way first, on AWS EKS, with Terraform-managed infrastructure, Kubernetes NetworkPolicies, and automatic TLS, to prove the cloud-native side before building its permanent, self-hosted home. Separately, I built and tore down a small highly-available Kubernetes cluster from raw EC2 instances (Kubernetty), to understand what a managed control plane like EKS is actually doing underneath — including the part most people skip: I stopped a control-plane node with a real workload running, and confirmed the cluster kept working.
